Original linocut block print // 5.5 in x 7.5 in // I used a reduction-print method, in which a single block is used to make a multi-colored image. Parts of the block are carved away, ink is applied and printed before carving further areas away and printing again in a new color, building up layers. This piece was carved and printed twice to create a two-color image. The lino block is destroyed as the carving progresses, making this a limited edition and unrepeatable. // A small signature and edition number (from a run of 10 prints) underneath each print. // Each print may vary slightly as they are all hand-printed.
